Clara is a web application that uses third-party services to transcribe and summarize live or recorded audio into summarized notes that are transformed into a report for the healthcare professional (doctor) using the application.

The third-party services on which the application operates include: Microsoft Azure Speech to Text, gpt-4o-mini, and AWS.

The information collected by the application is that which the patient provides to the healthcare professional during the consultation, such as: Personal information (Name, gender, and age) and information about their current health status for which they are consulting.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for creating your profile in the application and for generating reports for healthcare professionals through third-party services.

All third-party services we employ comply with privacy and personal data protection requirements.

Information Disclosure

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties. None of the patient data, including personal and clinical information, is shared with third parties. Only the authorized medical professional and each patient will have access to the information stored in their medical record.

Healthcare Professional Responsibilities

The healthcare professional is responsible for the confidentiality of any sensitive patient data when using the Application. By using the Application, you represent and warrant that:

a. You have the necessary permissions and informed consent from patients to receive and store data in the Application.

b. You will comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations regarding the data you submit through the Application.

c. You will not submit data that is false, misleading, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website or within the Application and updating the effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
